Patrolling the Skies
From time to time I journey to the Yamato of Japan sim to ride the Zero airplane.
I bought the plane, but the tour is just grand. And so are the photo opportunities.
Cheyenne takes off in a cloud of spray...
She does a flyby of the huge battleship Yamato.
and ascends into the clouds looking for the enemy...
She spots a ship below and tilts the nose of the Zero downward...
She breaks out of the clouds and goes into a steep dive...
The Zero's frame shudders as she passes 300 mph...
She pulls out of the dive at the last moment and drops her bombs...
She rapidly climbs...
Does a barrel roll...
And heads home.
She lands...
... the victorious heroine...
Or maybe not-- she thinks she might have just bombed the Yamato.
